Vanguardia Magazine gets Seized

This afternoon a member of the draft section of the Vanguardia magazine, in the north of Quito stated that some people that identified as employees of the ministry of Labor Relations accompanied by police officers said to turn off everything.

Afterwards the ministry employees began to seize computers, desks, chairs, and office equipment. According to the unnamed source the motive of the seizing is because of an alleged debt of the magazine.

Around five in the afternoon the representatives of Vanguardia magazine will give a press conference to address the matter in the office of the National Union of Journalists. AV
