Maryland is The Eighth U.S. State To Accept Gay Marriage

The state of Maryland passed a bill legalizing gay marriage. The new law will take effect after Gov. Martin O’Malley signs its approval.
In the Senate, there were 25 votes in favor and 22 against, that concludes a year of debates in the state policy. Maryland is the eighth state to legalize gay marriage.
