The president of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez, would have been admitted on Tuesday to emergency in the Military Hospital of Caracas, because of an alleged deterioration in his health, reported the U.S. newspaper El Nuevo Herald .

The newspaper, quoting a military hospital source said Chavez showed a picture of decay product of intense chemotherapy cycle that has been subjected for medical treatment. Hugo Chavez was admitted into the Military Hospital regarding his renal failure problems.

However the Venezuela Ministry of Communication, Andres Isarra, denied last Wednesday that president Chavez was committed by emergency into the Military Hospital. Meanwhile the Venezuelan Foreign Minister, Nicolas Maduro informed on Monday that Chavez is recovering from his chemotherapy treatments, and that he is well.  (AV)
