Through a press conference, the Ministry of Health confirmed Tuesday that the sample sent to the United States by the Chinese patient to determine whether or not he had coronavirus tested negative for this viral outbreak.

Minister Catalina Andramuño said that what the patient has is hepatitis B and that they are vigilant about their evolution.

Gina Watson, representative of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), clarified that there is still no vaccine and specific treatment for coronavirus.
