CNE distributed more than $ 8 million between 6 political parties

As reported by authorities of the National Electoral Council (CNE for its Spanish acronym), the allocation of Permanent Party Fund has been approved for this year, which will be $ 8,040,448.96 and aimed towards six political organizations.

The Partido Social Cristiano will have $ 1,252,502.64; the Partido Sociedad Patriotica, $ 913,667.19; Avanza, $ 1,311,200.07; the Alianza PAIS movement shall have $ 2,450,340.25; the Partido Socialista Frente Limpio, $ 940,512.31 and the Creando Oportunidades movement will be assigned with $ 1,172,226.50.

Regarding the Partido Sociedad Patriotica, its fund will be retained because they did not submit the accounting economic report of 2013. This measure shall be in force until the party rectifies the breach.

The electoral body said that these resources have to be used for the purposes stated in the Code of Democracy, i.e., promoting training activities, publications, research and training, as well as the institutional functioning of political organizations.

Partido Sociedad Patriotica will not receive its funding this year, until they deliver missing reports of 2013.
