CNE with its new councilors will appoint its president

The designation of the new president and vice president of the National Electoral Council (CNE) for the next three years will be one of the first activities that will involve the participation of the two new councilors elected in late 2014.
The first session of the renovated CNE is partially scheduled for 15:00 on Thursday January 8.
Last Sunday, the president of the National Assembly, Gabriela Rivadeneira, convened the session for the inauguration ofCarlos Tayupanta and Gloria Toapanta as new members of the electoral body. At that appointment it was provided that the counselors discuss the regulations to be used for the renovation of the CPC.
