According to Assemblyman of Alianza PAIS (AP), Gina Godoy, there are at least 77 new offenses incorporated into the Integral Criminal Code, which, according to the president of the Judicial Council, Gustavo Jalkh, most of them corresponds to International Humanitarian Law.
These rights involve matters relating to the law of war, the use of the white flag, use of weapons of destruction, cluster grenades, etc.., said Jalkh, who also added that the inclusion of such rights responds to international obligations.
From Article 111 to 139 the legislation gives definitions for persons, protected property, crime, circumstances and gives penalties for each.
