Colombia seizes drug from Ecuadorian boat

Last Tuesday Colombian Navy conducted an operation in which 255 kilos of cocaine were seized from a boat with an Ecuadorian flag, on the coast of Mosquera, Nariño.
After confirming the presence of psychotropic substances, the authorities took the boat to the Guardacostas de Tumaco dock, to proceed with the drilling of the hull and the following drug seizure, valued at six million dollars.
According to authorities, the drug comes from mobile group Daniel Aldana of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), which maintains operations in the border region with Ecuador.

Colombian armed forces continue to monitor the Ecuadorian borders.
