An ambitious project. That is how Lautaro Ojeda, a university professor and expert in security, describes the regulations to the law preventing the use of controlled substances listed by President Rafael Correa.

He believes that with the regulations, the issue will go from the field of health to the comprehensive care of the socioeconomic drug phenomenon.

The training will reach the public, private sector, high school and university students.

The regulation was issued by Executive Decree No. 951, March 11th and released yesterday on the official website of the Ecuadorian President. (I)
