Confrontations between Syria and Turkey continue
Today the Turkish army fired a round of artillery against Syrian troops, as an immediate counter-attack of a missile launched from Syria, which exploded in the bordering town of Akcakale, this is the second incident in a period of five days.
The Prime Minister of Turkey, Tayyp Erdogan warned that his country will not hesitate to go to war if it’s provoked. Since his commentary a series of mortars explosions launched from Syria have fallen in Turkish soil. The attack in Akcakale left no victims, since the missile fell in a facility that belongs to the Turkish Grain Board (TMO), located at a hundred meters of Akcakale.
Meanwhile the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights informed that the artillery shots from Turkey fell near the Syrian town of Tel Abyad, so far there are no victims’ reports. AV
