Cordicom begins professional certification

From this Monday the Council on Regulation and Development of Information and Communication (Cordicom for its Spanish acronym) initiates the certification process for job skills to those working in the media.

According to the minister Paulina Mogrovejo, the first certifications will be made for the profiles of speakers, radio and television presenters and television floor workers.

After two months they will continue with news cameraman, media photographer and multimedia; content producer for community media and technical manager for community media.

“Certifications are meant for professionals with years of experience who have not achieved a degree,” said Mogrovejo.
