The Municipality of Guayaquil made the Simón Bolívar Convention Center available to the Ministry of Health , with permanent disinfection and cleaning services, this Tuesday , March 31 .
Coronavirus: Guayaquil Convention Center will receive patients
After what was agreed in a meeting between municipal authorities and the Health Minister, Juan Carlos Zevallos , this center will be equipped and will have the necessary food for patients and doctors. This was announced by Josué Sanchez , vice mayor of Guayaquil , on his Twitter account.
The official explained that food management is carried out in coordination with the Karla Morales Foundation and the private company .
According to municipal authorities, the center will serve what the Ministry of Health considers necessary during this health emergency, be it the care of patients with Covid19 or other types of discomfort that cannot be treated in health centers .
