Corpses of the Malaysia Airlines plane arrive at territory controlled by Kiev
The train with the corpses of victims of the Malaysia Airlines plane arrived in the city of Kharkov, in the east of Ukraine and under the control of the Kiev authorities.
16 representatives of the Netherlands, Malaysia and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), accompanied the transport which came early this morning from Donetsk, a city controlled by the separatists, with 282 corpses and 87 remains of the 298 occupants of the airplane that was shot down by a missile, local media reported.
The convoy departed last night from the town of Torez in the Donetsk region, near where the Malaysian Boeing 777 fell down, but was stopped at the Donetsk station for several hours so insurgents hand over the two black boxes from the plane to a representative of Malaysia.
After arriving at the Kharkov-Balashovski station, where, after changing locomotives, it will be shipped to the Malyshev factory. From there it is expected to transfer the bodies to containers brought especially from Holland, reported EFE.
