The second debate of the Monetary and Financial Code is opened today

The second debate of the Monetary and Financial Organic Code will be held today at 09:30. For this, the last Saturday the members of the Commission on Economic Regime ended the project report which comprises 513 items, in which more than 40 orders of Assemblymen were included.

Among the most importants is the clarification made ​​by the Commission on the recalculation of the debt the Executive proposedabout its obligations to the IESS since 2008. In the new report specified that the calculation will be only about what is owed in relation to 40% of retirement pensions.

Other changes, according to Assemblyman Ramiro Aguilar (independent), are related with the creation of a Private Insurance Fund.

According to Assemblyman Vethowen Chica of Alianza PAÍS (AP), the Assembly may receive until today new objections that are presented in the second debate.
