President Rafael Correa will submit again to the Assembly the inheritance and Capital Gains bills, the announcement was made during the ceremony of appointment of new members of his cabinet.
At the event he also referred to the amendments to the Constitution, adopted by the Assembly on December 3. He urged citizens to not vote for his party if during next year they notice that any right has been violated. But at the same time, if that does not happen, he asked them to not vote for the opposition.
Correa talked about the economic difficulties the country has experienced this year due to falling oil prices. However, he listed some of the achievements despite these drawbacks, such as the payment of the Global Bonds.
