Correa congratulated Juan Manuel Santos on his reelection

rafael-correaPresident Rafael Correa said during his weekly address that Colombia will achieve the peace under the leadership of Juan Manuel Santos, who he publicly congratulated on achieving the reelection.

“Colombia voted for democracy, for peace, our dear friend, President Juan Manuel Santos, was re-elected, congratulations to Colombia, congratulations to Juan Manuel, good luck” Correa said.

“We know that under his leadership (of Santos) Colombia, our beloved Colombia, will reach peace,” said the President of Ecuador.

Last Thursday, the National Electoral Council (CNE for its Spanish acronym) of Colombia declared Santos as president for the period 2014-2018.
