On behalf of the assemblymen and married couple Abdala Bucaram Pulley and Gabriela Pazmino, the Guayas School of Lawyers yesterday presented a protective action against President Rafael Correa and Alianza Pais Party officials (AP for its Spanish acronym).

The Secretary of Communication of the Presidency, Fernando Alvarado, the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion (MIES for its Spanish acronym) and legislator of AP, Rosana Alvarado, were “affected” by the request of Dalo Bucaram.

The constitutional complaint seeks to prevent any institution or political character of the scheme contains of the couple’s children, either through mass media or social networks.

Juan Vizueta and Pedro Granja, the couple’s lawyers insisted that the report of the Council for Children has no legal justification because the parents of minors authorized the publication of the photographs in El Universo Newspaper. (MZ)
