Decentralized autonomous governments will have a new web platform
Autonomous Decentralized Governments (GAD for its Spanish acronym) will access to a new Web Platform. This, after an agreement between the Association of Municipalities of Ecuador and the Civil Registry.
The signing of the commitment was made in Milagro with the AME President, Daniel Avecilla; and the National Director of the Civil Registry, Jorge Troya.
In addition, the service will allow entities to issue digital certificates for identifying data.
For this digital archive, municipalities will access the database of the Civil Registry.
“This will generate a digital certificate that is geared to replace the copy of the identity card”, said Oscar Moyano, Coordinator of Research and Development of the Civil Registry.
Electronic tools that will be implemented will enable paper saving, since ID and voting certificate copies will no longer be needed for municipalty procedures.
