Disney is sued for a Toy Story 3 character
The Disney Enterprises has earned a problem thanks to Lotso, the pink bear that was the antagonist of the film Toy Story 3.
Diece-Lisa Industries (DLI), the American company that owns the brand ‘Lots of Hugs’, has filed a lawsuit in federal court in Texas (USA) against Disney, for violating intellectual property rights that they have over the character, according to The “Hollywood Reporter”.
In the lawsuit, DLI mentions, “Disney has enforced very aggressively several of its intellectual property rights.” It also informed that in the past there was a conflict with DC Comics to protect the rights of some of the characters in Toy Story and Toy Story 2.
Toy Story 3 was released in 2010, it was produced by Pixar, owned by Disney since 2006, and raised over $ 1 billion worldwide, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
