Encounters to boost trade

 

In two places this week events will be carried out to stimulate the economy of the Manabi areas affected by the earthquake. Thursday and Friday the ‘Together Reactivate Manabi’ business conference will be held in the Alfaro City Civic Center, in Montecristi. Manabi suppliers will exhibit products like beverages, cleaning products, textiles, decoration accents, crafts, beauty products, footwear, sport and pet accessories, food and cars.

 

Between Friday and Sunday a Manabi festival with the exhibition of products will take place in Guayaquil, at the Convention Center Simon Bolivar.

 

School raises funds for victims

Through various activities such as races and food sales, the Deutsche Schule von Humboldt has raised $ 100,247.40 to invest them in the construction of 50 emergency homes for the affected families of the earthquake. In parallel, 3,000 food rations have been donated.
