Ecuador and Chile sign multiple cooperation agreements at the Galapagos summit

Ecuador and Chile signed several cooperation agreements on social inclusion, cybersecurity, peacekeeping operations and training, among other issues, at a bilateral summit held in the Galapagos Islands.
“The meeting allowed the signing of four agreements, among them, one on the exchange of experiences for the strengthening of the ‘Toda una Vida,’ plan in coordination with the flagship program ‘Chile Grows with You,'” reported the Ecuadorian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“In the same way, it was agreed to cooperate in matters of defense, in areas such as cyberdefense and cybersecurity, joint peacekeeping operations and training, as well as joint organization policies of joint staffs,” adds the Foreign Ministry note. (I)
