The global economic recovery advances despite political risks
Ecuadornews:
The world economy is experiencing a recovery phase. The indicators of business confidence have improved, which translates into investment and a brighter future. This is the conclusion of a recent study by Coface on the world economic outlook.
For the end of 2017, a projection of global growth of 2.8% is expected, which is higher than the 2.5% recorded at the end of 2016. The United States contributes with 0.4%, the Euro Zone with the 0,3%, other advanced economies with 0.2%, other emerging countries with 0.9%, and China with 1% growth.
Despite this interesting trend, in the opinion of the general manager of the Coface Pedro Sanchez, our economy must be wary of the political risk posed by the administration of US President Donald Trump, as well as the implementation of the Brexit by the United Kingdom, among other elements. (I)
