Ecuador and Haiti will strengthen the bilateral cooperation in Quito
Ecuador and Haiti will seek to strengthen their bilateral cooperation on migration, education and air transport matters, among others that will be discussed during the visit of the President of Haiti, Michel Martelly, to Quito, where he will meet with his Ecuadorian counterpart Rafael Correa this November 1st.
“On Monday we will have the pleasant visit of Michel Martelly, President of Haiti, a country with which we have cooperated as true brothers,” recently wrote on his twitter account the Chancellor of Ecuador, Ricardo Patiño.
Martelly and Correa chair a meeting of ministers and other officials of their governments to discuss issues of bilateral cooperation and the Haitian support to the pro-tempore presidency that Ecuador will asumme in 2015 of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC for its Spanish acronym) .
