Ecuador and New Zealand sign consultation agreement on foreign policy

On Monday, Ecuador and New Zealand signed a bilateral consultation agreement on foreign policy as part of the Oceania tour of Deputy Foreign Minister Leonardo Arízaga.
Arizaga met with the Secretary for the Group of the Americas and Asia of the New Zealander Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Andrea Smith, in his one-day visit to New Zealand for the signing the agreement, reported the Ecuadorian ambassador to Australia, Raul Gangotene.
Arizaga´s visit seeks to strengthen the country’s relations with New Zealand and Australia on cooperation, higher education, scientific research and investments in primary sectors such as energy.
