In a two-day meeting, Ecuador and Peru manage to define strategies and to guide joint action plans to combat various crimes. The agreement was reached yesterday at the end of the Encounter of the Security Axis and Binational Defence, held in Machala.
Authorities related to the field of security of both countries established actions to continue the fight against illicit drug trafficking and related crimes, including weapons, ammunitions and explosives, smuggling, people trafficking, migrants and illegal mining.(I)
