Ecuador beat Paraguay and retrieves the second place
The team led by Reinaldo Rueda has won six games as locals which within the qualifying round.

Ecuador managed to achieve the victory by 4-1 against Paraguay which left them out of the race to the World Cup and Ecuador with one foot in of the classification, taking the second place in the qualifying scoreboard, with twenty points in ten games, until the next date.
The Paraguayans took advantage after 14 minutes with a goal from Luis Caballero, after a bad rejection of the Ecuadorian defense. But the Tricolor went from less to most and tied the game with a great head shot of Felipe Caicedo just minutes before the end of the first half. And then everything was better for Ecuador, six minutes was all Ecuador needed to turned the result into their advantage, Jefferson Montero (m.49) and Christian Benítez (m.54). And then one more time Montero completed the scoring (75 m) and established himself as the figure of the match.
Five points left to the world Cup
On the thirteenth date, which will be played on June 7, Ecuador will visit Peru in order to win the final ticket to Brazil 2014. The team of Rueda only need 5 points to enter the World Cup in carioca territory.
While, in the next date the Ecuadorian team will defend the its undefeated streak as locals against the Argentina of Messi.
