Ecuador continues to win gold medals in Bolivarian Games
National athletes completed yesterday 60 gold medals, 62 silver and 76 bronze followed in third place and continue to expand the historical record of medals in this tournament, involving Venezuela, Colombia, Panama, Peru, Bolivia and guests attending Chile, Paraguay, Dominican Republic, El Salvador and Guatemala.
Three days befor the end of the Bolivarian Sports Games Trujillo 2013, the triathlon relay team with Juan José Andrade, Maria Fárez, Andrés and Elizabeth Bravo Cabascango won gold.
In karate, Jacqueline Factos, won the gold in the division beat least 61 kilos and the silver medal team scored twice in the second placed team kata, both ladies and men. In addition, Nelson Cargua ended second in the individual kata.
Jonathan Marcelo Carcelén won bronze in the division of 80 kilos of taekwondo.
In table tennis, the boys team with Alberto Miño, Dino Suarez- Avilés, Iván Proaño and Rodrigo Tapia, took bronze. Minho and Suarez- Aviles, won silver in boys doubles.
