The Municipality of Guayaquil reported it is preparing a technical inspection and assesment report of overpasses and pedestrian crossings of the Carlos Julio Arosemena Avenue and buildings on the 9 de Octubre Avenue.
After the 7.8M earthquake that hit the country on Saturday April 16th at 18h58, Guayaquil has been affected.
A group of technicians from the Municipality of Guayaquil carries out preliminary inspections at about 147 buildings in the city to verify whether there is damage to their infrastructure. Inspections will serve to check for structural damage and whether or not these need urgent repair.
