Ecuador Elections 2013: Gustavo Larrea Quits his Candidacy

Gustavo Larrea, Participation movement leader, resigned his presidential candidacy. Larrea made the announcement in a press conference.

He said his resignation came to lend his support to Alberto Acosta, leader of Montecristi Vive. The former candidate stressed that Acosta has the qualities to govern, so declined his candidacy. (FL)
