French Cycling Federation Wants to Vacate the 7 Tours of Armstrong

Lance Armstrong
Following the procedure for doping against Lance Armstrong, the French Cycling Federation (FFC) asked to declare vacant the 7 Tours of Armstrong.
To avoid “controversy over the credibility of eventual winners,” the FFC proposed the race to remain vacant and not name any winner or give away the nearly 3780 $ 000 prize.
In a statement, the FCC found that the rejection of Armstrong to defend against the charges of the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), looks like an “admission of guilt” and regrets that the Texan rider’s decision not to defend “protect their accomplices “.
Lance Armstrong has been charged once with misuse of prohibited substances and doping practices in 1998.
