Ecuador promotes its tourist and gastronomic wealth in the markets of Madrid
The gastronomic markets are fashionable in Madrid and Ecuador wants to take advantage of this trend to promote its tourist wealth, but also culinary in the framework of the 40th edition of the International Tourism Fair of Madrid (Fitur) that opens tomorrow.
The country will not only have a stand at the event that, until Sunday, brings together 918 exhibitors and 11,040 companies from 165 countries. Its proposal as a 4-world tourist destination will be present with an advertising campaign in six of the gastronomic markets of the capital, which will undoubtedly receive thousands of visitors who come to Fitur.
The selected sites are the centennial market of San Miguel, that of San Ildefonso, inspired by the street market of London or New York, the sophisticated and modern market of San Antón, that of Chamartín, of the best gourmet markets of the Spanish capital, the traditional market of La Paz in the golden mile of Madrid, and that of Chamberí, a benchmark in the city. Between the six they add an impact of 189,000 people throughout this week.
The action also includes the exchangers of the Moncloa metro stations (influx of 650,000 people per week) and Elliptical Square (197,500 people).
For the ambassador of Ecuador in Spain, Cristóbal Roldán, the objective of these advertising media, both static and audiovisual, is to “spread the Ecuador of the Four Worlds, make visible the beauty of the country and publicize the national culinary art.”
