Ecuador Seduces Tourists from Fitur in Spain

Since yesterday, Ecuador promotes its Andean landscapes, sunny beaches and more of its attractions in its stand at the 31^st edition of the International Tourism Fair in Spain (Fitur).

About 10,500 businesses, ministries, and tourism offices of 166 countries will have the opportunity to display their countries charms until Sunday, when the fair is over.

At Fitur 2011, which is located in the Fairground Juan Carlos, Ecuador has an 254 m2 area filled with advertisements of touristic destinations and the new country brand called “Marca País”. In the fair facilities 20 exhibitors, including tour operators, and hoteliers show off the attractions of our country.

In 2010, there was an increase of 6.7% in the international tourism of Ecuador; in 2011, tourism is expected to rise 5% more.
