Radio Sucre Executives Left Their Facilities

Posted On 20 Jan 2011

Radio Sucre Executives Left Their FacilitiesYesterday, Radio Sucre executives left their building, located in Kennedy Norte, after CFN seized them for a $ 3 million-dollar debt.

The station’s director, Gabriel Arroba, explained that there are no problems with the frequency, but the building and some equipment were confiscated because of the debt.

The CFN has granted a period of three months to make the first payment; otherwise, the station will enter an auction process, said Arroba. “We’re giving the building as part of a subscription to the debt. We just want them to make a fair assessment, because it is located in an important area of the city,” he added.

The company Ecuaprimicias Publicidad S.A., owned by Vicente Arroba Ditto, has a debt of $ 1,668.971, it was originated by a loan to Banco del Progreso, which was subsequently endorsed to the CFN when the institution closed. Moreover, Vicente Ditto Arroba maintains a personal debt of $ 230,906.

The CFN is in charge of collecting the debts from the closed banks.
