Ecuador shares information with Colombia and Peru about El Niño phenomenon

Ecuador coordinates actions with Peru and Colombia to face El Niño phenomenon, said the Undersecretary of Risk Management José Luis Asencio.

He explained that information about the state of the climate is being shared with these countries. They have also conducted joint drills to evaluate the response times of medical and rescue organizations.

The Coordinator Minister of Security Fernando Cordero, said that these actions have strengthened the resilience of the security, rescue, and emergency organizations.
