Ecuadorian Chifles arrive to the Chilean market

The Ecuadorian company Marpensa exported to Chile a container with 5,500 kilos of the product “Porto’s Chips”, fried banana snack that is currently distributed in Delimaster, that country’s marketing chain.

Since last year both companies worked on product development considering market trends. Thus, they created a presentation of 45 grams per unit and used sea salt, healthy oils and indigenous flavors from Chile, such as merquén.

“The importance of this case of success lies mainly in the correct synergy that is achieved between companies, generating even a good friendship,” said Leonardo Mujica, manager of Delimaster.

For his part Jorge Vinueza, head of the commercial office of ProEcuador in Chile, said that the product developed is the result of consumer analysis and trends towards the market. (I)
