Ecuadorian president announces his plans to visit United States and the Vatican

The Ecuadorian president said during his weekly report that he will be in New York and Chicago for the presentation of the video ‘The Royal Tour’, produced by the American journalist Peter Greenberg.

The video has the “peculiarity that the tour guide is the president of the republic itself,” Correa added, noting that the work will enhance the Ecuadorian tourism in the US market.

“After that we will be back at the Vatican,” said the official, without specifying when to attend the invitation of Pope Francis to give a lecture as part of a “new encyclical is preparing” the pontiff.
