Ecuadorian Wrestler is South American Champion

Milton Gualpa, one of the many wrestlers that the province of Cañar (Ecuador) had is the new champion of Olympic wrestling in the category of 66 kg, Greek style.

Gualpa stated that the tournament had a high technical level to reach the final bout. The new champion had to defeat wrestlers from Peru, Chile and Argentina.

The final fight was in Brazil where Milton defeated his Brazilian adversary and crowned himself as the new South American wrestling champion of his category. (AV)
