Emelec will play against Liga de Loja
Posted On 26 Nov 2013
With the match between Deportivo Quevedo and Universidad Catolica in the Atahualpa of Quito, at 11:30, and then Deportivo Quito vs. Independiente del Valle, on the same stage at 14:00. While Emelec hosts Liga de Loja in the Capwell stadium, at 19:30, the Ecuadorian soccer championship could be defined tomorrow in the 20th date, two days before the completion of the second stage.
The three games are related, because if the teams from Quito do not win, that night Emelec only needs a tie to become unreachable with the points and the championship will be achieved. Although there are other possible outcomes, the blue team have the advantage of playing better than their rivals and have two more games to achieve their goal.
Catolica and Independiente, have 32 points each, they depend on Emelec (with 38 points) to fail in their remaining games and they must not fail to be able to play a final against the blue team, which is very hard to make it happen.
But tomorrow matches are also important because, in addition to the championship, it will allow better equipment located at the top of the standings to access international tournaments, while the latter could be demoted by Macara already dropped the last week.
The other collations of date are: Macara – Manta, Ambato at 12:30, Liga de Quito, El Nacional, in White House at 19:30, and Cuenca- Barcelona, the capital Azuay 20:00.
