Third year students of baccalaureate from private schools gave yesterday the National Examination for Higher Education (ENES).
The test was composed by a booklet with 120 questions and one answer sheet and 2 hours were disposed to complete the exam, which concluded at 12:00.
Participants attended 531 campuses, including the Maria Angelica Hidrovo High School, in the north of Quito.
Deputy Minister of Education, Freddy Peñafiel said that 322,600 candidates were summoned, including a 30% from private schools.
“This was achieved with the Secretary of Higher Education, the Ministry of Education and the National Institute of Educational Assessment, in order to have a picture of what’s happening in secondary education,” said Peñafiel.
