Entrepreneurs request ‘security labor and flexibility’
Ecuadornews:
Quito – Freedom to contract fixed-term and hourly labor, respecting labor guarantees and including training processes for those who have lost a job are the elements of “labor safety”, proposed yesterday by the Chamber of Commerce of Guayaquil to the Government .
The president of the business union, Pablo Arosemena, met with the Labor Minister, Raul Ledesma, to present his plan, which would lead, he said, to generate more suitable jobs. Considering that currently 6 out of 10 Ecuadorians of the Economically Active Population do not have adequate employment. Arosemena considers that it is necessary to “forget the labor populism”, that has been executed in the previous Government and to go to a labor pragmatism. (I)
