FARC is willing to discuss peace

Today the supreme leader of FARC, Rodrigo Londono Echeverri a.k.a “Timochenko” or “Timoleon Jimenez” promised to “perseverate without truce” in the “struggle for peace” after referring to the dialogue process with the Colombian government which, according to the guerrilla spokesman, would begin on October 8 in Oslo.

Several members of the Colombian guerrilla announced the date in a press conference in La Habana, Cuba. The Colombian president Juan Manuel Santos, opposed to the participation of ‘Simon Trinidad‘, imprisoned in the United States, so he acts as a mediator in the negotiations, as it was proposed by the guerrilla.

The main negotiator from FARC will be ‘Ivan Marquez’ and ‘Jose Santriz’ representing the State. The main subject is the ‘cease fire’ between the guerrilla and the Colombian government. AV
