Fast and Furious Confirms Two More Movies

The Fast and Furious saga continues and the seventh part is already confirmed since the sixth movie will be split in two parts, informed the star and producer of the franchise Vin Diesel.

During the planning of the new movie, the Fast and Furious creative team realized that they would need another movie to tell their story. Both the sixth and seventh movies are being written at the same time.

“With the success of this last one (Fast Five), and the inclusion of so many characters, and the broadening of scope, when we were sitting down to figure out what would fit into the real estate of number six, we didn’t have enough space,” Diesel told.

Fast Five changed the movie genre from car-racing adventure to action-adventure heist, and it generated the best reviews in the franchise’s history as well as a grossing $626 million worldwide.
