First round of eCommerce Day starts
The first eCommerce Day was held yesterday, July, 22, at the Convention Center of Guayaquil. Pablo Arosemena, President of the Guayaquil Chamber of Commerce (GCCfor its Spanish acronym) and Marcos Pueyrredon , President of the Latin American Institute for Electronic Commerce (ILCE for its Spanish acronym), welcomed the audience that on the first day of conferences met the perspective of the country regarding electronic commerce.
Pueyrredon noted that it exists a demand for products and services ‘on line’ in Ecuador, the problem is the lack of supply of these products.
“To make possible this network achieves its objectives, we must professionalize ourselves and this is one of the goals we have set in the 11 eCommerce Days we organize at regional level,” he said.
