Floods in Thailand left over 600 dead

The death toll in Thailand due to the floods that began in late July, exceed 600.
Monsoon rains and tropical storms that affected entire villages to the south through the center of the country to Bangkok and the Gulf of Thailand. More than two thirds of the 77 provinces have been affected.
The government said that a total of 602 victims died mostly drowned and 17 provinces were affected.
There are still areas that remain submerged under water, but the cleanup has already begun.
