Former manager of Petroecuador Alex Bravo, who was arrested for investigations of alleged influence peddling, could face new legal processes.
According to Legal Secretary of the Presidency Alexis Mera, there is a complaint about alleged payments from oil contractors abroad to Bravo´s accounts through companies, which -he said- would represent a crime of bribery.
“I have sumitted a letter asking for international criminal assistance of Panamanian authorities to analyze if we can verify that information,” Mera said Monday night at the end of the arraignment hearing in the Criminal Unit of Pichincha.
