Friends TV series celebrates its 20th anniversary

On September 22, 1994 the popular television series Friends premiered on NBC television network. 236 episodes were produced in total, which gave fame to its protagonists: Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer (Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Ross, Chandler and Joey respectively).
Among the awards the series received are the Golden Globe, the Emmy, the Bafta Award, and the US Screen Actors Guild Award. The comedy was set in Manhattan, New york, and tells the story and romances of six friends who live together. On May 6, 2004 the series was broadcast for the last time.
