Funeral Chapel in memory of Chavez at the Big Square of Ecuador

Venezuela’s embassy in Ecuador and the oil company PDVSA, have organized in conjunction with the movement Alianza Patria Altiva I Soberana (PAIS), from 13:00 today, a funeral chapel in honor of “Commander” Hugo Rafael Chavez Frias, which is being held in the Big Square at Quito.

At 17:00 a giant screen will allow to see the development of an ecumenical Mass in the church outside Quito Cathedral, located on the sidewalk diagonally to the Carondelet Palace.

Dozens of supporters using red clothes or green flags of the Ecuadorian ruling movement, have been around this morning to show mourning for the loss of the Venezuelan leader who led the country for 14 years until he died yesterday victim of a cancer.

The Carondelet Palace, place of the Executive and located in front of the Big Square, maintains its national flag at half-mast in sign of mourning.
