German tourist appeared disoriented in Montañita

Last August 16 a young German woman was found in the Ecuadorian beach of  Montañita, walking disoriented by the Cocteles street.

The Consulate of Germany launched an alert of search which announced the disappearance of Lea Katrin S., 25 years old, who was missing since last Monday 12, when she left a camping site near the town of Montañita, in the province of Santa Elena.

According to the people in charge of the investigation, the young woman apparently presented an emotional bias, so police officers  transferred her to the UPC of Montañita and and then tManglaralto hospital, where after a previous check-up, doctors confirmed that she had not been attacked physically or sexually.

After the respective examination, Lea was transferred to the Consulate of her country in Guayaquil with police custody.
