Glas calls legislators of the CREO and the PSC parties “hysterical women”

Posted On 03 Jul 2017

Ecuadornews:

Ecuadorian Vice President Jorge Glas, has described the legislators of the CREO party Ana Galarza and Jeannine Cruz, and PSC legislators Paola Vintimilla and Cristina Reyes as “hysterical women.” They are among the 59 parliamentarians who have signed the impeachment order against him. Glas said that such a request “causes pity” because “perverse statements have been made by a group of Legislators, I think the majority are women.”

Glas made the remarks in an interview with Radio i99 on June 30. When asked the reason to call them in such way, Glas responded: “They are hysterical. I am absolutely responsible for my statements.” (I)
