Glas, linked to the Odebrecht case

The judge of the criminal chamber of the National Court of Justice, Miguel Jurado, accepted the request of Attorney General Carlos Baca Mancheno and linked vice president Jorge Glas in the Odebrecht case. He was also banned from leaving the country.

The decision was made after hearing the allegations of the Attorney General, who also requested the implication of 10 other people in the case that investigates the crime of illicit association for bribes given by Odebrecht to Ecuadorian officials in exchange for contracts. (I)
